Shortening Jeans & Chinos Workshop 2 hour Workshop
£30 per person
Master the skills to confidently alter and repair your trousers in this hands-on sewing session.
You’ll learn how to:
• Unpick and measure for precise shortening
• Apply a clean and professional-looking binding hem
• Repair and shorten trousers with torn or worn edges
• Use a sewing machine on thicker, stiffer fabrics
• Choose the right thread colour and taper trousers for a better fit
Whether you’re refreshing your own wardrobe or building your alteration skills, this workshop is perfect for anyone looking to tackle denim and chino fabrics with confidence.
Please bring your own sewing machine. If you need to borrow one, a £10 hire fee applies—just let us know in advance.

Replacing Trouser & Jeans Zippers
£30 per person
Join this session to learn how to change the zipper in your trousers.
In this session we will go through how to:
• Unpick and remove old or broken zippers
• Choose the right type and length of zip (metal vs. nylon)
• Position the new zip correctly for trousers and jeans
• Use a zipper foot on your sewing machine
• Sew a neat, strong, and professional finish
Please bring your own sewing machine. If you need to borrow one, a £10 hire fee applies—just let us know in advance. You can bring a pair of your own trousers which need to have the zip replaced or we can provide you with a pair.
